Job Title: Process Engineer Mid

An Industrial Process Engineer at Shape Digital works closely with a multidisciplinary Agile team to build cutting-edge advanced analytics solutions. These solutions generate insights from connected data, enabling the team to advance data-driven decision-making capabilities. This role requires a deep understanding of engineering, troubleshooting, and monitoring of industrial processes and equipment.

Key Responsibilities:
  1. Contribute to developing advanced analytics solutions for condition monitoring and performance optimization of industrial assets.
  2. Compile and digest industrial technical documentation to gather information for data-driven models.
  3. Develop root cause analysis studies of industry failure events to identify new opportunities for digital solutions development.
  4. Explore and develop mathematical modeling of industrial thermodynamic processes to support data-driven solutions development.
  5. Explore historical time-series data of process equipment to validate hypotheses and test modeling techniques.
  6. Implement digital products in new clients and support the development of new features.
  7. Participate in problem framing with business owners, data scientists, and other engineers for identified opportunities.
Requirements:

Education: Bachelor's degree in chemical engineering.

Experience: Experience as a Process Engineer in industries such as Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, or similar sectors.

Technical Skills: Proficiency in process simulation tools and optimization of thermodynamic processes.

Collaboration: Strong team player with the ability to efficiently interact across technical, design, and business functions.

Language: Advanced English proficiency.

Certification: CREA certification is mandatory.

Differential: Experience working with digital technologies in the industry for process simulation and condition monitoring.
