About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled DevOps Engineer to join our team at Thomson Reuters. As a DevOps Engineer, you will be responsible for developing and delivering high-quality solutions for our DevOps team.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop and deliver modern DevOps Engineering practices, including development, operational support, monitoring, automation, building, testing, and delivering high-quality solutions.
  • Work in a collaborative team-oriented environment, sharing information, valuing diverse ideas, and partnering with cross-functional and remote teams.
  • Be an agile person, with a strong sense of urgency and a desire to work in a fast-paced, dynamic environment, delivering solutions against strict timelines.

About You

You're a fit for the role of DevOps Engineer if you:

  • Have a bachelor's degree or master's in a computer science discipline and at least 1 AWS Certification.
  • Have 3-5 years of experience as a DevOps engineer on the AWS Cloud platform.
  • Have deep knowledge of AWS cloud platform – S3, CDK (TypeScript), CloudFormation, EC2, ElastiCache, ECS on EC2 & Fargate, Code Pipelines, Code Build, Code Deploy, RDS, EKS.
  • Have demonstrated high proficiency in automation, system monitoring, and cloud-native applications.
  • Have hands-on experience in cloud infrastructure development using AWS CDK TypeScript.
  • Have experience in at least one or more programming languages (Java, C#, Python, JavaScript, etc.).
  • Have familiarity with SQL, Windows, and Linux servers.
  • Have experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitHub, GitHub Actions.
  • Have proactively monitored all services to ensure their availability, latency, scalability, and efficiency using DataDog.
  • Have experience with building and deploying .NET, NET Core (MSBuild), and Java-based (Ant/Maven/Groovy) solutions.
  • Have good knowledge and understanding of building and deploying containerized applications in AWS ECS/ EKS.
  • Have knowledge and experience implementing testing strategies in a continuous integration and deployment environment.
