Job OverviewWe are seeking a highly skilled data engineer to fill a position that involves designing, implementing and maintaining distributed data pipelines.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop scalable data architectures using tools such as Dataproc, PySpark, and Dataflow.
- Model and manage large volumes of data, ensuring optimal performance and scalability.
- Work with containers and master orchestration solutions, including Kubernetes.
- Apply good software development practices: clean code, implementation of automated tests, version control (Git), and documentation.
- Contribute to the development and maintenance of modern CI/CD processes for automating integrations and deployments.
Essential Skills And Qualifications
- Proven experience in data modeling and advanced knowledge of SQL.
- Practical experience in Cloud environments, preferably Google Cloud Platform.
- Sound expertise in distributed data processing, using tools like Dataproc, PySpark, and Dataflow.
- Established practice in applying good software practices, including clean code, implementation of automated testing, version control, and documentation.
- Experience working in environments that adopt modern continuous integration and continuous delivery (CI/CD).
