Business Financial Controller

We seek a seasoned financial professional to lead our accounting function in LATAM.
This senior role is responsible for driving the monthly accounting close and reporting, implementation of SOX controls, contract reviews, and tax compliance.
The ideal candidate will have 10+ years of progressive audit and/or accounting experience in Brazil, with a strong understanding of Brazil GAAP, transfer pricing, and local reporting requirements.
- Lead the monthly accounting close, including reporting, implementation of SOX controls, and contract reviews to support revenue recognition.
- Support tax strategy, compliance, and other reporting requirements linked to ICMS, PIS/COFINS, and other applicable taxes.
- Reconcile GAAP to STAT differences on a quarterly basis.
- Leverage corporate accounting expertise to support documentation of accounting policy items and account reconciliations.
- Partner with commercial, operations, and FP&A teams to establish best practices over pre-contract reviews and planning.
- Provide subject matter expertise to support strategic decision making as part of accounting systems and ERP setups.
- Collaborate with international controllership team to streamline and accelerate the accounting close.
