As a Lead Concept Artist, you will push your artistic talent to the limit on a team of world-class artists who strive to innovate and inspire. Your role involves supporting and supervising creative content provided by artists, providing front-line creative feedback, and collaborating with other teams to ensure concept art meets the highest quality standards.

• Work closely with Art Leads, Art Directors, and Outsource Manager(s) to support internal artists.
• Collect or generate detailed documentation, video reference, and examples of art asset production, procedures, and engine requirements to support artists.
• Make necessary fixes to keep assets consistent and technically game ready.
• C Clearly communicate feedback to artists and ensure creative notes and goals are met.
• Communicate and partner with internal Epic art staff to ensure concept art is clear and respects limitations from other disciplines.
• Some amount of hands-on art production to deliver concepts for the project, ensuring familiarity and capability working alongside other Epic artists.

• A minimum of one AAA game experience in a Senior/Lead Concept Artist role.
• Experience working with intellectual properties.
• A portfolio demonstrating a range of styles, creativity, and craftsmanship.
• An effective communicator, collaborator, and problem solver able to coordinate between internal and external teams.
• Excellent organizational skills and ability to accurately estimate tasks and maintain schedules.
• Understanding of other game art disciplines, their workflows, and limitations.
• Fluency in a language other than English is a plus.
