Shopify Development Expertise

We are seeking an accomplished Shopify developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will possess extensive knowledge of Shopify Plus and a solid understanding of the Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC).

The successful applicant will be responsible for providing first-level technical support, troubleshooting critical issues, and escalating as needed.

In addition, they will engage with Product Management and business partners on system capability, design, and solutions, and work with Development to ensure technical requirements, best practices, performance, and security.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • 4+ years of Shopify development experience with knowledge of Shopify Plus
  • Solid understanding of the SDLC and methodologies
  • Flexibility to occasionally work 12-hour shifts as part of a rotating schedule including some weekends and holidays within a 24/7 support environment
  • Experience troubleshooting site issues using various tools
  • Strong problem-solving analytical skills and attention to detail
  • Experience with page performance optimization and secure development practices
  • Knowledge of front-end caching CDNs and request-response flow
  • Familiarity with ticketing systems like Jira
