Android Software Development Opportunity

We are seeking a seasoned software engineer with expertise in Android development to play a crucial role in shaping the future of our app. This individual will own major features, work closely with our design team, and deliver high-quality features that delight users.

The ideal candidate is a self-motivated individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment and has excellent communication skills, a user-oriented problem-solving approach, and a drive to improve the app and codebase above and beyond what's outlined in the spec.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Own and maintain key features and reliability metrics
  • Participate in discussions across different teams - Product, Design, Engineering
  • Review pull requests and support other teammates
  • Handle critical issues and unexpected challenges
  • Take ownership of feature releases and provide nightly builds for the QA team

Requirements:

  • 5+ years of software engineering experience
  • Expertise in Kotlin, Kotlin Coroutines, and Dagger 2
  • Strong understanding of Clean Architecture, MVVM, and Jetpack Navigation
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
