
Supply Chain Quality Assurance Professional

This is a key role that focuses on ensuring the quality of supplied goods and services. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, be able to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team, and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Responsibilities:
- Create and send notifications to suppliers via SAP or other systems for production series items and new projects.
- Develop inspection models for parts (incoming inspection) and conduct critical analysis of the project.
- Monitor the quarantine area for rejected or under-analysis parts through audits and perform analysis to determine the need for rework and/or to request deviation for use.
- Participate in global supplier meetings to align on topics related to failure mode analysis, critical suppliers, escalation processes for critical issues, suggestions for new procedures, and standardization of work.
- Provide support to receiving inspectors by assisting with inspection methods, material certification analysis, evaluation of rejected items, organizing containment for nonconforming parts, monitoring third-party inspection companies, and supporting the definition of inspection/containment priorities.
- Send suspected defective components to the Metrology and/or Macrography Laboratory for measurement execution and evaluation of the final report.
- Monitor supplier scoring by compiling monthly data on supplier complaints, overdue notifications, evaluating PPM for each supplier, as well as data from other departments that impact supplier performance.
- Organize evaluations of PPAP samples for dimensional measurements in the metrology or macrography laboratory or other tests, analyze the PPAP documentation submitted by the supplier, and retain sample parts.
- Support the purchasing department in the development of new projects and suppliers, lead critical items with suppliers and/or production line, and coordinate a team of technicians to support supplier management.

- Proficiency in using SAP and other relevant software applications.
