As a key player in developing and maintaining applications, you will be responsible for designing and implementing software solutions using Java, Spring framework, REST architecture, and JEE technologies.

This role requires excellent analytical skills, strong problem-solving abilities, and the capacity to make decisions independently.

You will work closely with cross-functional teams in an agile environment to develop high-quality code with unit and regression tests.

The successful candidate will have solid knowledge of Java, Spring framework, REST architecture, and JEE technologies, as well as experience in CI/CD technologies and APM tools like Splunk.

  • Key Responsibilities:
  • Develop and maintain API applications/solutions using Java, Spring framework, REST architecture, and JEE technologies.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams in an agile environment.
  • Design and implement software solutions using Java and other relevant technologies.
  • Assist the team in supporting/fixing production issues.
  • Identify improvement opportunities with business impact using new technology.

Requirements:

  • Education: BS/MS degree in Computer Science or related field.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years of working experience in Object Oriented programming.
  • Skills: Solid knowledge of Java, Spring framework, REST architecture, and JEE technologies.
  • Knowledge: Good understanding of best practices for developing Restful APIs, good knowledge of Relational Databases (e.g., Oracle, MySQL), good understanding of ORM technologies, experience in CI/CD technologies (e.g., Jenkins, GIT), exposure to APM tools like Splunk.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Competence in software design and implementation.
  • Competence in software engineering tools and best practices.
  • Ability to estimate engineering effort, plan implementation, and rollout system changes.
  • Exhibit creativity and resourcefulness at problem solving while collaborating effectively with designers, engineers of different technical backgrounds, architects, and product managers.
  • Awareness of Agile methodology for Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
  • Self Starter attitude with strong teamwork skills.
  • Excellent communication skills both verbal and written to ensure effective communication across product teams, functions, and locations.
  • Ability to make decisions independently without always seeking guidance from others on what needs to be done.
  • Flexibility to work on any technology as per project demand.
