Senior Compliance Professional for Latin America

Samsung Electronics seeks a Senior Manager to act as the primary Compliance Officer for its Latin America business.
This position will implement and oversee the compliance program at both regional and subsidiary levels, ensuring adherence to all applicable laws and regulations of Latin America, including Brazil, Mexico, Argentina, Chile, Colombia, Panama, and Peru.
Key Responsibilities:- Designated Compliance Professional: Serve in accordance with local regulations.
- Oversee and administer the compliance program for Latin America.
- Develop, maintain, and enforce compliance policies and procedures.
- Conduct due diligence and maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders.
- Ensure day-to-day compliance with periodic activities, such as internal audits, communication campaigns, and trainings.
- Identify, assess, and mitigate legal and compliance risks specific to the Latin America business through effective controls and monitoring.
- Lead and oversee ethics investigations into ethics and integrity incidents.
The ideal candidate will have prior experience at a multinational company or law firms, with specialization or Master's Degree in Compliance, Corporate Governance, or related corporate areas. Advanced English and Spanish skills are required, along with excellent organizational skills and ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
