Role Summary:
We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Accounting Analyst to join our organization in São Paulo. This role is critical to maintaining the financial integrity of our company. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in accounting principles, both local and international (IFRS), and will be responsible for delivering accurate financial insights to support strategic decision-making.
This position requires a deep understanding of financial data analysis, accounting systems, and regulatory compliance. The successful candidate will be able to analyze complex financial information, identify trends, and develop recommendations to improve financial performance.
Key Responsibilities:- Analyze financial data and prepare accurate, timely reports for management
- Ensure compliance with local and international accounting standards (IFRS and Brazilian GAAP)
- Verify the accuracy of financial statements and related documentation
- Manage and reconcile accounts payable and receivable
- Maintain and oversee general ledger activities
- Support internal and external audits, including documentation and process improvements
- Assist in budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning
- Provide financial analysis to support business decisions and strategic initiatives
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field
- Minimum of 5 years of relevant accounting experience
- CRC (Conselho Regional de Contabilidade) certification preferred
- Strong knowledge of IFRS and Brazilian GAAP
- Proficiency in accounting systems; experience with SAP and BPC is a plus
- Advanced Excel skills and strong analytical capabilities
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic environment
- Advanced English proficiency is required
