Job Title: Music Specialist Teacher for Early Years and Primary Years

We are seeking a highly qualified and experienced Music Specialist Teacher to join our team at Red House International School. The successful candidate will be responsible for teaching music to students in the early years and primary years, promoting a love of music and arts in our young learners.

Responsibilities:
  • Teach music classes to students in the early years and primary years, using a variety of teaching methods and materials to engage and inspire our students.
  • Develop and implement music curricula that align with the school's pedagogical plan and meet the needs of our students.
  • Assess student progress and provide feedback to students, parents, and colleagues.
  • Collaborate with colleagues to develop and implement music programs and events that promote music and arts in our school community.
  • Maintain accurate and complete student records, as required by law and school policy.
  • Attend staff meetings, professional development workshops, and other events as required.
Requirements:
  • Music Education Degree or equivalent qualification.
  • 2 years of teaching experience in early years and/or primary years, preferably in an international school setting.
  • Strong knowledge of music education principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work collaboratively with colleagues and parents.
  • Proficiency in English.
Desirable Qualifications:
  • Degree in Pedagogy.
  • IB Methodology certification.
  • Experience with Microsoft Office.
