Our Tech Associates play a critical role in the execution of all facets of the executive recruiting lifecycle. Working closely with our expert Search Partners, they build upon their existing professional skills and receive world-class mentorship. Our associates drive most aspects of the recruitment process, from developing the search strategy through managing its execution.

While learning the Search industry, our associates invest significant time researching and learning about various industries and executive roles. The associate role provides great visibility, significant responsibility, and the opportunity for high impact with an excellent career track potential on a well-defined path.

Key Responsibilities

  • Research & Writing: Develop position specification(s) and create an effective search strategy in tandem with the Consultant. Conduct industry-specific and client company research to bring market insights to the Consultant/Client.
  • Internal and External Communication: Contact prospective candidates to elicit interest in client opportunities, obtain referrals, and/or collect market intelligence and feedback. Conduct in-depth interviews to assess candidate qualifications and fit to position specifications.
  • Culture Carrier: Partner across stakeholders to develop productive relationships with colleagues across the firm. Foster an environment of collaboration and act as a culture carrier.
  • Quality Assurance: Maintain the accuracy, quality, and integrity of all Search information in internal and external research tools.

Essential Skills and Qualifications

  • A minimum of 4-6 years of professional experience or 3+ years of transferable recruiting experience.
  • An undergraduate degree is required.
  • Exhibit skill and mastery of professional communications, displaying adeptness in writing, articulating, and delivering information with confidence and impact.

Prior Experience Preferred

  • Prior experience in full life cycle recruiting in Executive Search or In-House Talent Acquisition.
  • Proven success managing multiple projects and working across teams.
  • Experience targeting potential candidates and developing pitch materials.
