As an Advanced Diesel Technician, you will be responsible for independently performing complex tasks such as diagnosing issues with machinery, repairing damaged components, and maintaining the overall condition of vehicles and equipment.

We are looking for a highly skilled individual who possesses the ability to work accurately under pressure, communicate effectively with colleagues, and demonstrate a high level of expertise in mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.

• Diagnose and repair complex problems with agricultural equipment.
• Participate in training programs to stay up-to-date with industry developments.
• Mentor less experienced technicians to help them develop their skills.
• Support customer clinics by providing expert advice and assistance.
• Stay knowledgeable about John Deere and competitive products.
• Ensure that all company property is properly maintained and organized.
• Follow safety procedures and protocols at all times.
• Utilize forklift experience and license if applicable.
• Complete reports and forms related to work performed.
• Manage time and materials used efficiently.
• Adhere to regular working hours with punctual attendance.

• Hold an associate degree with a minimum 5 years of experience in service repairs.
• Be able to perform advanced repairs using specialized tools following technical manual procedures.
• Demonstrate a strong understanding of mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems.
• Be proficient in using diagnostic vehicles and equipment.
• Have familiarity with Service Advisor software and basic computer functions.
• Preferably have education or training in Advanced Diesel Service Technology.
• Be able to build and maintain positive relationships with colleagues.
• Hold a valid driver's license and be authorized to work in the United States without sponsorship.
• Work hours: Mon-Fri 8am-5pm (off-season), seasonal extended hours, and on-call duties.
