About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Japanese VRI/OPI Interpreter to join our team at Future Group. As a key member of our interpretation services, you will play a vital role in facilitating communication between non-English and English speakers.

Responsibilities
  • Provide accurate and complete interpretation services over the phone and via video remote interpretation
  • Work with a variety of clients across different industries, including healthcare and medical
  • Develop and maintain a strong understanding of medical terminology and industry-specific vocabulary
  • Collaborate with our team to ensure seamless communication and high-quality service delivery
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices
Requirements
  • Fluent in Japanese and native-level proficiency in English
  • 1+ years of experience in over-the-phone interpretation, preferably in a well-established interpretation company
  • Strong knowledge of medical terminology and industry-specific vocabulary
  • High emotional intelligence and tolerance for diverse cultures
  • Excellent communication, listening, and note-taking skills
  • Technical requirements: dedicated high-speed internet connection, minimum download speed 10 Mbps, minimum upload speed 3 Mbps, wired internet, Windows 10 operating system, dual core processor, 8 GB RAM memory, and a noise-cancelling wired headset with a built-in microphone
