Join us as a dedicated Hospice Nursing Assistant to make a meaningful impact in patient care. As a key member of our healthcare team, you will provide exceptional support to patients and their families.

Job Description
  • We are seeking an experienced individual who can assist with various personal care issues such as changing bedding, clothing, bathing hospice patients, and maintaining hygienic routines like brushing teeth, washing hair, and keeping wound dressings clean and dry.

In this role, you will have the opportunity to work closely with our interdisciplinary team to ensure seamless patient care. You will also be responsible for consulting with supervising registered nurses on patient progress and family needs.

Required Skills and Qualifications
  • You must meet one of the following requirements:
  • Experience: A minimum of 1 year of full-time experience in direct client care in an institutional setting (hospital or nursing facility), or 1 year of experience within the last 5 years in direct client care in a home health or hospice setting.
  • Training and Certification: Completion of a training and competency evaluation program that complies with federal and state regulations.
  • Certification: Registration and listing in good standing on the Nurse Aide Registry in the state of employment.
  • You must possess a valid state driver's license and automobile insurance, and have reliable transportation.
