Back-End Developer Opportunity

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Back-End/API Developer to join our team. The ideal candidate will have expertise in designing, developing, and maintaining high-performance back-end systems and RESTful APIs using modern technologies.

Responsibilities:
  • Design and Develop Back-End Systems: Design and develop robust, efficient, and secure back-end systems and RESTful APIs using TypeScript and Node.js.
  • Database Management: Plan and implement data models and database schemas for relational (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL (e.g., CouchDB / MongoDB) databases.
  • Optimize Performance: Optimize application performance by identifying and addressing bottlenecks through profiling, telemetry, and code optimization.
  • Best Practices: Implement best practices for code structure, maintainability, security, and scalability.
  • Coding Standards: Write clean, well-documented, and testable code using industry-standard coding practices.
  • Collaboration: Collaborate with other developers, participate in code reviews, and contribute to knowledge sharing.
Requirements:
  • Experience: Proven experience in designing, developing, and maintaining complex and highly performant back-end systems and RESTful APIs.
  • Programming Skills: Strong proficiency in TypeScript and modern JavaScript (ES6+).
  • Frameworks and Databases: Extensive experience with Node.js and related frameworks (e.g., Express.js, Nest.js), as well as proficiency in working with relational databases (e.g., PostgreSQL, MySQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g., MongoDB).
  • Knowledge and Skills: Expertise in data modeling, database design, and data access patterns, knowledge of web networking protocols (HTTP, HTTPS, WebSockets), and security best practices (authentication, authorization, encryption).
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Experience with performance profiling, optimization techniques, and software algorithms.
  • Communication Skills: Strong problem-solving, debugging, and troubleshooting skills, as well as excellent communication and teamwork abilities.
