Senior Software Development Engineer in Test Role

We are seeking a skilled software development engineer to fill this SDET position.

The ideal candidate will have experience in designing, developing, and maintaining automated test suites using frameworks like Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, Cucumber, and Rest Assured.

  • Evaluate the current framework architecture and propose enhancements for scalability, reliability, and maintainability.
  • Design, develop, and maintain automated test suites using Selenium WebDriver, TestNG, and Cucumber.
  • Create new modules or components to extend the framework's functionality based on project needs.
  • Write robust and efficient Selenium test scripts using best practices and design patterns.
  • Improve existing scripts to enhance readability, modularity, and performance.
  • Understand API testing with Rest Assured.
  • Enhance the automation framework to reduce tasks and improve productivity.
  • Collaborate with developers, product owners, and other stakeholders for comprehensive test coverage.
  • Optimize QA processes for efficiency and effectiveness.
  • Mentor team members of the QA team, providing guidance on best practices and technical expertise.
  • Proficiency in programming language Java and Spring Boot is required.
  • Experience with CI/CD pipelines and familiarity with tools like Jenkins is preferred.
  • Integrate Selenium tests with Continuous Integration/Continuous Deployment (CI/CD) pipelines for nightly regression.
  • Excellent communication skills for effective collaboration with cross-functional teams.
  • Familiarity with Agile/Scrum methodologies and working in Agile teams is essential.
