About the Role

Fusemachines, a leading AI company, is seeking a highly skilled Senior Finance Associate to join its finance department. As a key member of the team, you will play a pivotal role in providing critical support to the Finance Manager/Director and ensuring the integrity of financial operations.

Key Responsibilities
  • Financial Reporting and Analysis: Prepare, analyze, and interpret financial statements in compliance with US GAAP accounting standards.
  • Budgeting and Forecasting: Assist in the development of annual budgets and financial forecasts, monitoring and reporting on budget performance to identify areas for cost control and efficiency improvements.
  • Compliance and Audit: Ensure compliance with local, state, and federal financial regulations and reporting requirements, coordinating and supporting audits as needed.
  • Cash Flow Management: Oversee cash flow planning and management, ensuring sufficient liquidity for operations.
  • Financial Operations: Supervise accounts payable and receivable processes to ensure timely and accurate transactions.
  • Strategic Support: Provide financial analysis and recommendations to support business initiatives and projects, collaborating with various departments to align financial strategies with organizational goals.
  • Process Improvement: Identify opportunities for process enhancements to improve efficiency and accuracy in financial operations, implementing best practices in financial management and accounting.
Requirements & Qualifications
  • Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, or a related field.
  • Professional Certification: Professional certification (CPA, CMA, or equivalent) is a plus.
  • Experience: Minimum of 7-10 years of experience in finance or accounting, with at least 2 years in a senior or supervisory role.
  • Skills: Strong knowledge of GAAP, proficiency in financial management software and ERP systems, advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and other financial analysis tools.
  • Language: Proficient in English.
