Senior Cloud Engineer

Job Description:

We are seeking an experienced Senior Cloud Engineer to join our team. The successful candidate will have extensive knowledge of cloud-native architectures and full-stack development.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining scalable microservices and web applications using cutting-edge technologies such as Python, AWS services, and PHP/Laravel.

  • Design and develop robust, scalable microservices using Python.
  • Build and maintain RESTful APIs and backend services.
  • Create and optimize cloud-native applications leveraging AWS services.
  • Maintain legacy PHP/Laravel applications and migrate to modern stacks.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver high-quality solutions.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Participate in code reviews, technical discussions, and architecture decisions.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve complex technical issues across the stack.
Requirements:

The ideal candidate will have:

  • 5+ years of professional software development experience.
  • 3+ years of Python development in production environments.
  • 2+ years of AWS cloud services experience.
  • 2+ years of PHP/Laravel development experience.
  • A proven track record of building and maintaining microservices.
  • Experience with event-driven architectures and message queuing.

Nice-to-Have:

  • Terraform or other Infrastructure as Code tools.
  • Agile/Scrum methodology experience.
  • Onetrust / Data store platform experience.
