Job Overview

This role is a key contributor to our revenue growth strategy, responsible for performing the revenue recognition process from contract inception through general ledger reconciliation for assigned client portfolios.

A senior finance professional with expertise in revenue accounting, financial analysis, and compliance to GAAP ASC 606 and IFRS 15 and corporate policies will thrive in this position.

Main Responsibilities

  • Meet business and financial close requirements by accurately recording and reporting revenue
  • Drive process improvements and manage the contract approval process from proposal through signature
  • Perform month-end closing tasks, journal entries, and reconciliations for assigned clients, ensuring timely and accurate reporting
  • Support the preparation of monthly and quarterly reporting requirements, including variance analysis and financial forecasting
  • Collaborate with internal teams to ensure seamless integration of revenue recognition processes

Requirements

  • 5+ years of relevant experience in public accounting or industry, with a focus on revenue recognition and financial analysis
  • Experience working together with sales finance & operational teams to forecast financial results and revenue recognition treatment
  • Familiarity with US GAAP (ASC 606) and IFRS (IFRS 15) revenue recognition rules, with expertise in software company/IT service company environments preferred
  • Fluent English language skills
  • Ability to work in a hybrid mode from our Sao Paulo or Campinas offices

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
