The Role: We are currently seeking a qualified Veterinarian to join our team. As a Veterinarian, you will provide medical care for shelter animals, perform spay/neuter surgeries, manage medical records, and collaborate with staff to maintain and improve animal health.

Responsibilities:

  1. Providing routine exams, surgery, and vaccinations for shelter animals
  2. Performing spay/neuter surgeries on cats and dogs
  3. Managing medical records and administering medications
  4. Private patient consultations and treatments
  5. Collaborating with staff to maintain and improve animal health

Requirements: The ideal candidate must be SAVC Registered, reliable, dedicated, and have a fair understanding of an Animal Welfare environment. Must be willing to relocate (accommodation and travel to and from the practice are not included in the employment package).

Salary Range: R500,000 - R700,000 per annum, depending on experience. This salary range has been estimated based on industry standards for veterinarians in South Africa.
