We are seeking a skilled finance professional to join our organization in Rio de Janeiro. As a critical member of the financial team, you will play a key role in supporting daily financial tasks with professionalism and moderate supervision.

About The Role

The ideal candidate will have over 4 years of accounting experience, knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), and experience with direct and indirect taxes for service companies. Proficiency in Portuguese (business level), English (advanced), and strong communication and interpersonal skills are also essential.

Responsibilities include:

  • Book journal entries
  • Prepare financial reports
  • Support audits (internal and external)
  • Meet legal and statutory requirements
  • Reconcile and analyze financial data, including reviewing monthly templates, income tax calculations, and ensuring compliance with group policies
  • Support Latin America finance and accounting matters
  • Review financial statements
  • Ensure Sarbanes-Oxley Act (SOX) compliance (including Brazil)
Requirements
  • Over 4 years of accounting experience
  • Knowledge of IFRS
  • Experience with direct and indirect taxes for service companies
  • Attention to detail and willingness to learn
  • Proficiency in Portuguese (business level), English (advanced), both written and spoken
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills
  • Proficiency in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint
  • Ability to work independently and learn new software
  • Effective working relationships with colleagues and stakeholders
  • Proactive, responsible, adaptable, and organized
Preferred Qualifications
  • Energetic team player with good interpersonal skills
  • SAP experience
  • Problem-solving skills
  • Languages: Portuguese (native), English (proficient), Spanish (a plus)
