We are seeking a highly skilled Implementations Accountant to join our team at Carta. As an Implementations Accountant, you will play a critical role in supporting the onboarding process for new fund clients, ensuring seamless integration with our platform.

• Collaborate with new fund clients to collect financial data and provide expert guidance on accounting best practices within Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
• Act as a liaison between sales and Fund Accounting teams, facilitating effective communication and ensuring timely resolution of client queries
• Identify opportunities for process improvements and quality enhancements, and present recommendations to leadership
• Prepare accurate and balanced quarterly financial statements from unstructured client data, ensuring timely delivery to clients and internal stakeholders

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field, or equivalent experience
• At least 1 year of experience in a finance or accounting role, with a strong understanding of accounting principles and practices
• Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex financial data and provide actionable insights
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build effective relationships with clients and internal stakeholders
• Proven ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a high degree of organizational skills and attention to detail
• Fluent in English, both written and verbal

• Acumen in accounting with a focus on venture, hedge fund, and/or private equity
• Familiarity with financial data analysis software and tools

Carta offers a competitive compensation package, including a market-competitive salary, equity for all full-time roles, and exceptional benefits. Our expected cash compensation range for this role is:

• $81,000 - $85,000 in New York, New York
• $81,000 - $85,000 in San Francisco, California
• $72,900 - $76,500 in Seattle, Washington
