Quality Assurance Coordinator

At Alstom, we are committed to delivering high-quality products to our customers. As a member of our Supplier Quality Engineering team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that our suppliers meet our strict quality standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Conduct inspections of incoming components and materials to ensure compliance with technical specifications.
  • Report on inspection results and activities conducted, providing clear and concise findings for internal use and stakeholder reference.
  • Assist in inspections using measuring instruments, ensuring accuracy of results.
  • Support the maintenance and analysis of quality indicators to drive process improvement.
  • Monitor and manage non-conformities, ensuring prompt resolution and effective communication with suppliers.
  • Collaborate with suppliers to identify and address quality issues.

Requirements:

  • Students of Engineering (Industrial, Production, Mechanical, Electrical, etc.) with expected graduation in December/25 or later.
  • Proficiency in PowerPoint, Excel, and Word.
  • Desirable knowledge of the ISO 9001 standard.
  • Desirable awareness of quality tools such as 8D, Pareto, Fishbone, 5 Whys, 5W+2H, etc.
  • Fluent Portuguese and intermediate English language skills.
