Senior Mechanical Engineer Role Overview

Our team is seeking a senior mechanical engineer to lead and develop conceptual and basic engineering projects. The ideal candidate will have strong leadership, supervision, and team management skills, as well as experience in the development and implementation of large-scale industrial projects.

The successful candidate will be responsible for leading teams, developing strategic studies, and reviewing projects and technical documentation to ensure quality and compliance with deadlines.

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A degree in Mechanical Engineering;
  • At least 10 years of experience in the field;
  • Strong leadership, supervision, and team management skills;
  • Experience in the development and implementation of large-scale industrial projects;
  • Knowledge of processes and technologies applied in iron, gold, and copper mining projects;
  • Proficiency in software and equipment sizing for bulk material handling and transportation, as well as heavy boilerwork calculations.
