Data Center Operations Specialist

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled Data Center Operations Specialist to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in data center operations, including air conditioning systems, UPS systems, and comprehensive systems.

Responsibilities:

  • Operate, maintain and optimize local data center systems.
  • Manage document updates for data center systems and oversee the installation, removal, and hardware maintenance of network equipment such as servers, storage, and switches.
  • Coordinate with third-party service providers to implement inspections, maintenance, and troubleshooting of data center systems.
  • Address overall data center system failures and abnormal situations discovered during monitoring and inspection processes.
  • Perform daily duty inspections, maintain records, and ensure data center environmental hygiene.
  • Plan and construct wiring for strong and weak electricity in the data center.

Requirements:

  • College degree or above, majoring in computer-related or electrical-related fields, with at least 2 years of work experience in the same industry.
  • Familiarity with basic X86 server architecture and experience in hardware testing and maintenance.
  • Knowledge of network devices, such as switches, and commonly used network protocols.
  • Familiarity with data center power supply and distribution management systems, UPS uninterruptible power supply systems, and other critical infrastructure.
  • Experience in data center construction, power, fire protection, air conditioning, civil engineering, and other engineering construction is preferred.
  • Strong communication skills, sense of responsibility, able to handle work pressure, team spirit, and adaptability to a 24/7 shift.
