Job Title

A talented Big Data Engineer is required to work remotely and be part of a diverse team that delivers cutting-edge solutions.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in building scalable and high-availability solutions, as well as expertise in machine learning, data analysis, mobile, web, IoT, and other IT domains.

  • Work closely with developers, tech leads, and architects to design and implement innovative solutions.
  • Improve existing architecture or create new ones to drive business impact.
  • Develop and maintain large-scale data pipelines using various tools and technologies.
Requirements
  • At least 6 years of experience working as a developer in languages such as Ruby, Python, Java, JavaScript.
  • 5+ years of experience in Big Data, with a strong understanding of governance, metadata management, data lineage, impact analysis, and policy enforcement.
  • Proficiency in analysis, troubleshooting, and problem-solving.
  • Experience in building data pipelines to handle large volumes of data.
  • Advanced English language skills.
Desirable Skills
  • Building data lakes with Lambda/Kappa/Delta architecture.
  • DataOps, particularly creating and managing batch and real-time data ingestion and processing processes.
  • Hands-on experience with managing data loads and data quality.
  • Modernizing enterprise data warehouses and business intelligence environments with open-source tools.
  • Deploying Big Data solutions to the cloud.
  • Performing real-time data visualization and time series analysis using open-source and commercial solutions.
