The Start Up Project Manager plays a crucial role in defining, developing and delivering the Global Study Start Up Project Plan by partnering with various stakeholders, including Study Managers, Clinical Trial Application Groups, and in-country Start Up operations colleagues.

Key responsibilities include:

  • Defining, developing and delivery of the Global Study Start Up Project Plan
  • Partnering with Site Intelligence to ensure clear communication of data
  • Obtaining CTA, Country and Site level input to plans
  • Identifying risks to site activation and developing mitigation plans

Additionally, the Start Up Project Manager is accountable for resolution of Site Activation escalations for Study Teams, offering options for mitigation at both study and site levels. They lead the cross-functional site activation team, utilizing internal and external team members as necessary to support implementation of the Start Up Project plan.

Required Skills and Qualifications

To be successful in this role, candidates should possess:

  • Extensive global clinical trial/study management experience
  • Working knowledge of Good Clinical Practices, monitoring, clinical and regulatory operations
  • Bachelor's degree or higher in a relevant field, along with 5 years of relevant experience
