Job Summary: We are seeking a skilled and safety-conscious Forklift Operator to join our team at FedEx. As a Forklift Operator, you will be responsible for safely operating a forklift to move cargo and pallets within a warehouse, while also ensuring the efficient organization of cargo for transportation and storage.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a forklift to move cargo and pallets within a warehouse, adhering to safety protocols and standard operating procedures.
- Organize cargo according to its characteristics for transportation and storage, ensuring efficient and safe handling.
- Perform verticalization of unused cargo racks and special loading and unloading tasks, including heavy loads operated by forklifts.
- Conduct first-level maintenance of the forklift, including cleaning and conservation, to ensure optimal performance.
- Work in a team environment, adhering to safety, hygiene, quality, and environmental protection standards.
Requirements:
- Elementary School degree or equivalent.
- Forklift Operator Course Diploma or renewal within validity period (2 years).
- Driver's license type B (Brazil) and functional certification card issued by System S institutions (SENAT/SENAI and SESI/SENAI).
- Two (2) years of experience as a forklift operator, with an excellent driving record and no preventive accidents in the past 12 months.
