About the Job:
- We are seeking a highly motivated individual to join our team as Tax Senior Specialist.
About the Responsibilities:
- Reviewing periodic tax filings (municipal, state, and federal).
- Reviewing monthly internal audit controls.
- Supporting monthly tax closing processes.
- Assisting with quarterly tax package preparation for headquarters.
- Analyzing and applying current Brazilian tax regulations.
- Staying updated on Brazil's ongoing tax reforms.
- Identifying opportunities for tax optimization.
- Managing tax audits and reviews.
- Preparing tax reports and summaries for management.
- Coordinating with external advisors and tax authorities.
- Collaborating with diverse teams.
- Supporting the implementation of new tax policies.
About You:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
- Minimum 3 years of experience in tax in Brazil.
- Fluent in English (spoken and written); Spanish is a plus.
- Advanced knowledge of Brazilian tax legislation.
- Strong understanding of Brazil's tax reform.
- Proficiency in accounting software and digital tools.
- Experience with Linx system is a plus.
- Experience in retail sector is appreciated but not mandatory.
