We are seeking a highly skilled Software Engineer to drive our automation efforts forward. This is an excellent opportunity for a talented individual to leverage their expertise and lead initiatives that enable QA and Product teams to move faster and with greater confidence.

The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of software development principles and practices, as well as experience in implementing tools that enhance efficiency and productivity for QA and Development operations.

About the Role

You will play a key role in determining the right technologies and architecting scalable solutions that contribute to a comprehensive quality coverage strategy.

Leverage your expertise to lead other engineers tasked with tackling larger project demands.

As a senior engineer, you will participate in defining the overall advanced test strategy for all projects.

Key Responsibilities
  • Implement tools that enhance efficiency and productivity for QA and Development operations
  • Integrate ongoing quality efforts throughout the development process
  • Establish implementation best practices for the team, ensuring code is optimized for performance and scalability
  • Participate in defining the overall Fortis QA advanced test strategy for all projects
Requirements
  • Experience programming in C# or Python
  • Knowledge of AWS cloud services, including S3, EC2, and experience with messaging services
  • Experience working with CI/CD workflows and platforms such as GitHub Actions, Jenkins, or TeamCity
  • Experience in building internal development tools
  • Demonstrated ability to work with multiple teams, identifying project requirements, and ensuring successful delivery
  • Leadership skills to provide direction and mentoring for junior engineers
  • Knowledge of Unity and Unity tooling specifically for game development
  • Experience working with QA Automation frameworks
