The Field Service Engineer plays a pivotal role in delivering exceptional service, enhancing machine performance and ensuring an outstanding customer experience.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Ensure machines meet customer expectations
  • Respond to field issues promptly and resolve them efficiently
  • Solve mechanical or operational efficiency problems
  • Troubleshoot machine and/or performance issues until resolved
  • Perform regular maintenance to optimize continuous machine performance
  • Conduct disassembly and installation of mechanical components
  • Maintain close communication with sales leadership by providing updates and advising on potential sales opportunities
  • Actively contribute to continuous improvement activities
  • Support the training and development of new Field Service Engineers as needed

Customer Service:

  • Address or escalate customer complaints
  • Work proactively with customers and internal stakeholders to successfully complete projects
  • Provide customer training as required

Health & Safety Responsibility:

  • Follow all relevant procedures and legal requirements, prioritize safety in every task, and take ownership of complying with all health and safety standards

Qualifications:

  • Technical or Engineering degree in Automation and Robotics, Mechatronics, Industrial Electricity, Electrical or Electronic Engineering, Industrial Maintenance or related fields
  • 0-2 years of experience
  • Class B driver's license
  • Able to understand electromechanical topics
  • SEC A or B electrical installer license desirable
  • English at least at an intermediate level
  • Ability to interpret manuals, electrical, electronic and other diagrams
  • Orientation towards the external client, good problem-solving capacity, analytical skills and ability to work under pressure, good communication skills
  • Availability to relocate and travel frequently
