Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced and dedicated MYP Coordinator to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for collaboratively planning, preparing, and delivering differentiated lessons, assessing and reporting student progress, and maintaining the learning environment of the classroom.
Main Responsibilities
- Develop and implement curriculum plans that cater to the diverse needs of our students
- Collaborate with colleagues to design and deliver engaging and inquiry-based lessons
- Assess and report student progress, providing constructive feedback to students and parents
- Manage classroom resources and maintain a safe and inclusive learning environment
- Organize and participate in school events, trips, and extra-curricular activities
- Line manage the teaching assistant and provide guidance and support
Requirements
- At least a Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Previous experience in teaching and curriculum development
- Ability to differentiate and deliver conceptual, engaging, and inquiry-based lessons
- Familiarity and experience with collaborative planning and a team-teaching approach
