We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Business Analyst to join our team at Netcracker Technology. Key Responsibilities- Functional Requirements Gathering: Identify, collect, clarify, and organize functional requirements for new product and solution features and change requests.
- Use Case Development: Develop use cases, information models, and operation process specifications for service, network, and resource management domains of OSS – Resource Inventory, Service Activation, Design, and Planning.
- System Design: Design object models, user interfaces, data processing algorithms, integration interfaces, etc.
- Solution Implementation: Participate in solution implementation based on out-of-the-box product capabilities.
- OSS Product Configuration: Configure OSS products according to customer requirements.
- Analysis and Design: Participate in the analysis, design, and acceptance stages on prototype, proof-of-concept, product, and implementation projects.
- Gap Analysis and User Scenarios: Conduct gap analysis and create new user scenarios for out-of-the-box solutions in the area of Cell Site Rollout, RAN, and MBH Inventory, GPON/FTTX Service Fulfilment and Service Activation for B2B and B2C, Network Automation of Fixed Access and IP/MPLS/SR Backbone.
- Customer Needs Verification: Verify customer business needs and improve existing products and solutions.
- Market and Technology Research: Conduct market and technology researches in the telecommunications industry, learn standards in OSS/BSS, Network Automation, and Orchestration.
- New Module Development: Participate in the development of new NetCracker modules and components.
- Strong Communication Skills: Ability to create clear and comprehensive network data models and API designs, strong communication with customers and architects.
- Technical Expertise: Excellent skills in object-oriented design, university technical degree in maths, physics, IT, telecommunications, programming, or engineering.
- Development Experience: Experience in development and implementation of solutions, preferably for telco mobile service fulfilment.
- Industry Knowledge: Understanding or hands-on experience with Service Catalog, Service Order Management, Cell Site and Network Rollout, Internet Access and fixed-line provisioning/activation processes, NOC/SOC processes, Network Discovery and Inventory implementation.
- Standards and Protocols: Knowledge of OSS/BSS and telco standards – TMF, ETSI, ITU, 3GPP, IETF, MEF, ONAP, and understanding of one or several protocols – SNMP, CLI, FTP/SFTP, REST, OpenFlow, NETCONF.
- Programming Skills: Experience in telecom domain-specific programming – YANG, Python.
- Software Development Lifecycle: Understanding of the software development lifecycle – RUP, Agile, etc.
- Experience: 7 years of experience in network engineering or analytical positions.
- Bachelor's Degree: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Maths, or a related field.
