Job Title: Cloud Field Engineering Manager

We are seeking an accomplished leader to manage and develop a high-performing team of field engineers. This role is responsible for overseeing the development and implementation of engineering processes, as well as representing the team and product to stakeholders, partners, and customers.

  • This includes leading and developing a team of field engineers in presales and professional services, solving customer problems by promoting our technologies and being a trusted advisor, working remotely in a single major time zone, and coaching, mentoring, and offering career development feedback.
  • Additional responsibilities include identifying and measuring team health indicators, implementing disciplined engineering processes, and planning and managing progress on agreed goals and projects.
Key Responsibilities:

Promoting Our Technologies: As a Cloud Field Engineering Manager, you will be responsible for promoting our technologies and serving as a trusted advisor to customers. This involves providing solutions to customer problems and ensuring that our technologies meet their needs.

Team Management: You will lead and develop a team of field engineers in presales and professional services. This includes recruiting, training, and managing a team of high-performing engineers who can provide exceptional service to customers.

Engineering Processes: You will be responsible for identifying and implementing disciplined engineering processes that ensure the quality and efficiency of our products and services. This includes developing and implementing best practices, as well as monitoring and improving our processes regularly.

Communication: As a Cloud Field Engineering Manager, you will represent your team and product to stakeholders, partners, and customers. This includes communicating our value proposition, showcasing our capabilities, and building strong relationships with our customers and partners.

Career Development: You will coach, mentor, and offer career development feedback to your team members. This includes helping them set and achieve their career goals, as well as providing guidance and support to help them grow professionally.
