Key Leadership Role in Cyber Security

This senior-level position oversees the management and development of the Security Operations team, ensuring the security and integrity of infrastructure and products.

Responsibilities
  • Manage and develop a high-performing SecOps team to guarantee the security and reliability of data, infrastructure, and product deployments.
  • Design and implement advanced technical security controls to identify, contain, and remediate sophisticated security threats.
  • Contribute significantly to product security and enhance the resilience and robustness of Ubuntu customers and users through strategic collaborations.
  • Cultivate partnerships with the Organisational Learning and Development team to create playbooks and facilitate comprehensive SecOps training across the organisation.
Requirements
  • Proven track record of mitigating complex threat actors and nation-state threats through expert risk assessment and mitigation strategies.
  • Deep understanding of Security Operation Centers (SOCs) from foundational concepts to cutting-edge technologies.
  • In-depth knowledge of SOC architecture and design, encompassing strategies for logging, firewalls, network segmentation, honeypots, and other critical components.
  • Ability to define, implement, automate, and measure effective incident response plans and processes.
  • Expertise in security architecture and market-leading security tools to stay ahead of emerging threats.
