Linux Kernel Architect
We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Linux Kernel Architect to lead our team in the development and delivery of the Ubuntu Linux kernel.
The successful candidate will possess a deep understanding of operating system kernels, distributions, and cloud computing platforms, as well as excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Key Responsibilities:
- Drive engagements with key Silicon and Cloud partners to provide optimal solutions for their platforms
- Mitigate common vulnerabilities and exposures for Ubuntu Linux, and drive active hardening in the kernel
- Architect enhancements to performance and correctness to make Ubuntu Linux the most reliable and highest performing Linux kernel available today
- Streamline the packaging and distribution of third-party components for optimal user experience
- Develop new means to deliver Ubuntu Linux at scale to meet quality standards and delivery schedules
