Research Specialist Role

About the Position

We are seeking a skilled professional to fill a Research Specialist position within our Consumer Products and Retail practice. The ideal candidate will have experience in conducting secondary research, analyzing data, and collaborating with cross-functional teams.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct targeted desk research to support project development and proposals within the CP/R practice.
  • Collaborate closely with consulting teams to understand research requests and provide critical insights.
  • Deliver concise summaries and findings that inform case recommendations.
  • Develop industry knowledge through internal practice meetings, trade publications, and Bain resources.
  • Participate in asset-building projects, including proprietary materials and databases.
  • Evaluate research tools and contribute to resource development and training programs.
Requirements and Qualifications:
  • Minimum 3-6 years of experience in conducting secondary research in a related field.
  • A proactive attitude, initiative-taking approach, and strong desire to learn new skills.
  • Prior experience or familiarity with relevant KPIs in the Consumer Products and Retail industries.
  • Fluent written and verbal communication skills in English and Portuguese.
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Economics, Engineering, Marketing, or a related field.
  • Strong critical thinking skills, high level of accuracy, and attention to detail.
  • Ability to organize and analyze research data using Excel.
