Senior Inspector and Process Lead

- Manages direct reports, ensuring technical requirements and scheduling are met.
- Reviews all quality documents from the manufacturing process per project/contract.
- Oversees receiving, in-process, and final inspection processes.
- Provides final reports as required per contract.
- Manages work and material flow within areas of responsibility.
- Collaborates with customers on quality aspects of projects.
- Assists with government and customer onsite inspections when required.
Responsible for identifying opportunities and gaps in existing quality standards, practices, and tools. The Quality Assurance Supervisor must also manage calibration systems, monitor supplier performance metrics, and report quarterly results. Additionally, this role involves establishing training programs and mentoring employees in technical aspects of quality inspection.
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High School diploma or equivalent with 7+ years of experience in inspection and quality systems, or a bachelor's degree in engineering, manufacturing, or a related field with 3+ years of inspection and quality experience.
- Broad technical understanding of industrial manufacturing, with a preference for gear experience.
- Knowledge of materials, processes, and inspection methods.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office products.
- Familiarity with ISO 9001 Quality certification.
- Proficiency with precision inspection tools and measurement.
- Ability to read and interpret detailed engineering drawings.
- Experience with Non-Destructive Testing.
