Radiopharmaceutical Assistant

We are seeking a highly skilled Pharmacy Technician to join our team. As a Pharmacy Technician, you will be responsible for assisting licensed pharmacists with various tasks, including drawing, dispensing, and packaging radiopharmaceuticals.

• Draw, dispense, and package radiopharmaceuticals under the direct supervision of a licensed pharmacist.
• Prepare prescriptions by typing labels and obtain approval from a licensed pharmacist.
• Perform quality assurance tests on instruments and radiopharmaceuticals.
• Receive, document, and store incoming and outgoing pharmaceuticals.
• Maintain computer inventory and records to ensure proper utilization of materials and accurate accounting for Rx drugs.
• Assist in labeling blood cell products and perform general laboratory and facility clean up.
• Make deliveries to accounts as needed using company vehicles.
• Communicate with customers and address questions and/or concerns via telephone.

• A high school diploma or equivalent is preferred.
• 0-1 years of experience in a pharmacy setting is preferred.
• Registration with the State Board of Pharmacy and licensure as a Pharmacy Technician or PTCB is preferred.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills, as well as strong customer service skills, are required.
• The ability to lift containers weighing up to 75 pounds and flexibility to work various shifts are also required.
