About the Role
We are seeking a skilled Business Systems Analyst to join our central IT Business Analysis team. As a Business Systems Analyst, you will play a critical role in supporting our business portfolios by analyzing business needs and developing solutions that meet those needs.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct analysis to understand how business areas work, considering people, organization, processes, information, data, and technology.
- Identify and elaborate user and business needs to enable effective design, development, and business change.
- Ensure new solutions and services meet business and user needs, and are aligned with organizational goals.
- Understand business and policy constraints that need to be considered, and assess the implications.
- Identify areas for improvement, explore feasible options, analyze the effects of change, and define success measures.
- Take ownership for improving your own knowledge of business analysis, methods, and tools, and play an active role within the BA practice and wider community in sharing knowledge and supporting other members.
Requirements
- Business analysis skills, including the ability to apply structured approaches to identify, investigate, analyze, and communicate complex business problems and opportunities.
- Requirements definition and management skills, including the ability to identify, analyze, challenge, and validate business and user requirements.
- Stakeholder relationship management skills, including the ability to identify, analyze, manage, and monitor relationships with and between internal and external stakeholders.
- Business modeling skills, including the ability to model various elements of the business.
- Business process improvement skills, including the ability to identify opportunities to improve business performance and lead the analysis, identification, design, prioritization, and implementation of process and business changes.
- Experience of collaborative working, including the ability to work effectively and collaboratively alongside colleagues in a multidisciplinary team.
Preferred Qualifications
- Delivery of transformational projects.
- Experience within and across campaign to cash business processes.
- A working knowledge of CRM's such as Salesforce CPQ, Freshsales, Hub Spot.
- Knowledge of ERP systems, with a preference for Oracle.
- Knowledge of subscription management tools.
- Experience of working within a multinational organization/project team.
Basic Qualifications
- One or more of the below qualifications would be desirable:
- BCS Diploma in Business Analysis.
- IIBA Certified Business Analysis Practitioner.
- PMI Professional in Business Analysis.
