Expert Driller

We are seeking an experienced Drilling Expert to join our team. As a key member of our operations department, you will be responsible for providing on-site supervision of the directional drilling process.

• Project well paths to predetermined target coordinates, under general supervision.
• Assist in selecting and assembling Bottom Hole Assemblies (BHAs) as planned, including correct make-up torque, doping, and handling.
• Proficiently use directional drilling computer software and provide advice and analysis to client representatives at the well site, including survey calculations and well path projections.
• Update well profile plots and provide accurate directional survey data, ensuring compliance with client surveying requirements.
• Complete daily directional drilling and BHA performance reports, service tickets, and relevant paperwork, including well data spreadsheets and lessons learned.
• Inspect directional drilling equipment delivered on site and coordinate with MWD engineers to ensure BHA compatibility and parameters within specification.
• Maintain records of directional drilling equipment at the well site and ensure proper layout and backload of equipment after job completion.

• Minimum of three years of field experience in directional drilling.
• Bachelor's degree in a STEM discipline.
