Our company seeks an experienced professional to fill the position of Financial Planning and Control Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for overseeing the financial planning and control activities across various divisions and products within our South America region.

This includes ensuring timely delivery of financial information in compliance with legal and organizational regulations, as well as guaranteeing the reliability of financial data through a complex network of technological resources (SAP Global).

The Financial Planning and Control Specialist will work closely with senior management to develop and implement strategic plans that meet the company's goals and objectives.

Responsibilities:

  • Plan and coordinate financial control activities, adhering to deadlines and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations;
  • Manage and analyze financial data, identifying trends and areas for improvement;
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans;
  • Provide financial guidance and support to business leaders, enabling informed decision-making;
  • Develop and maintain effective relationships with stakeholders, including internal departments and external partners.

Requirements:

  • Minimum 8 years of experience in financial planning and control, preferably in a senior controller role;
  • Proficiency in SAP software and knowledge of capital goods/PoC accounting are mandatory;
  • English language skills are essential, with strong written and verbal communication abilities;
  • A strong track record of working in international companies, preferably in industrial sectors;
  • Project controller experience is highly desirable.
