Job Title

Risk Management Specialist for Latin America

The Risk Management Specialist for Latin America will be responsible for identifying and mitigating potential risks to Amazon's people, operations, and assets in the region. The successful candidate will have a strong understanding of the security context in Latin America and be able to monitor open source information to stay ahead of emerging threats.

The ideal candidate will have a bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field and experience working in Latin America. Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese is required. Experience with open source intelligence (OSINT) and research is also highly desirable.

Key Responsibilities
  • Monitor open source information to identify potential risks to Amazon's people, operations, and assets in Latin America.
  • Write proactive risk alerts and engage stakeholders to ensure mitigations are in place as needed.
  • Support incident management teams responding to high-impact incidents in LATAM.

Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field.
  • Experience working in Latin America, with a strong familiarity of the security context.
  • Fluency in English, Spanish, and Portuguese.
  • Experience with open source intelligence (OSINT) and research.
