Key Responsibilities:
  • Design and execute quarterly actuarial profitability reviews for the agricultural insurance portfolio, providing strategic recommendations to senior stakeholders
  • Lead collaborative initiatives to optimize agricultural portfolio rate reviews and enhance crop insurance costing models for improved pricing accuracy
  • Develop comprehensive actuarial frameworks for agricultural technical notes, ensuring regulatory compliance while maximizing business opportunities
  • Spearhead special projects related to agricultural risk assessment and pricing, demonstrating technical leadership and cross-functional collaboration
  • Implement advanced data analytics methodologies specific to agricultural exposures to uncover actionable insights that drive strategic business decisions and portfolio optimization
Requirements:
  • Bachelor's or advanced degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Statistics, or related quantitative field
  • 5+ years of relevant actuarial experience in insurance or reinsurance, with preference for agricultural insurance exposure
  • Progress toward or achievement of professional actuarial credentials
  • Advanced English proficiency with demonstrated ability to communicate complex concepts clearly
  • Proven experience in pricing, reserving, or portfolio management within P&C insurance
