Senior Communications Specialist

The Drugs for Neglected Diseases initiative is an international, not-for-profit research and development organization.

We partner with over 200 public research and industry allies worldwide to find solutions to life-threatening diseases disproportionately impacting poor and marginalized people.

Six new treatments have been delivered since inception. We aim to deliver an additional 15-18 new treatments by addressing R&D gaps for neglected tropical diseases and viral infections.

The External Affairs' Communications team develops and implements the global communications strategy.

About the Role

This role ensures DND_i_'s brand and key messages are effectively communicated through various communications tools.

  • Key Responsibilities
  • Identify content development needs in consultation with teams.
  • Develop engaging content for publications and websites.
  • Liaise with internal teams to source information.
  • Manage external translation as needed.
  • Project manage all types of publications and corporate communications tools.

Working Environment

This role is based in Rio, working closely with the global team based in Geneva.
