Our mission is to enable farmers in the tropics to replace synthetic fertilizers, pesticides, and limestone with silicate rock powder from local mines.

Job Description

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Junior Operations Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our operations team, you will assist in the set-up, operation, maintenance, and oversight of experiments and projects in the farm context. You will work closely with our scientific and operations teams to provide support in various tasks, including the construction of pot experiments, thorough documentation of research activities, and the maintenance of research equipment.

Responsibilities
  • Assist in the set-up and operation of experiments and projects in the farm context
  • Work closely with the scientific and operations teams to provide support in various tasks
  • Conduct thorough documentation of research activities
  • Maintain research equipment and ensure its proper functioning
  • Collaborate with the team to achieve project goals and objectives
Requirements
  • General enthusiasm for environmental activism, agriculture, and soil
  • Ability to work well in a team environment and contribute constructively
  • Execute tasks within the overall ops and science strategy in accordance with company OKRs
  • Create reports and communicate challenges and achievements to the team
  • Observant, polite, and open to learn
  • Ready to face a sometimes fast-changing, adaptable work environment
  • Scientific background in agronomy or comparable is a plus
  • English to communicate with our international team is a plus
