Job Summary
We are seeking an experienced Operations Manager to lead our production and materials handling team at LyondellBasell. As a key member of our local leadership, you will drive performance and ensure a healthy, profitable, and safe operating environment.
Key Responsibilities
- Act as a key member of the local leadership team to drive performance and achieve business objectives.
- Promote Operational Excellence and GoalZero Safety Performance throughout the production process.
- Develop and implement process optimization initiatives to minimize costs and increase efficiency.
- Lead the execution of various management programs and ensure compliance with company policies and procedures.
- Provide technical and operational support to the industrial management of the Pindamonhangaba plant.
- Develop and implement training programs to enhance the skills and knowledge of direct employees.
- Contribute to the development of business and market prospects.
Requirements
- Master's degree in Chemistry, Chemical or Materials Engineering or related areas.
- Experience in industrial environments and coordination/management positions in manufacturing companies.
- Advanced/Fluent English language skills.
- Knowledge of tools such as APQP, FMEA, MASP, and ISO standards.
- Postgraduate degree and/or MBA in Industrial Management desirable.
Preferred Qualifications
- Basic computer skills, including ERP Datasul, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
- People Management and Development Coach skills.
- Experience in industrial processes and management of performance indicators in the production area.
- Systemic vision and ability to solve problems collaboratively in multidisciplinary teams.
