At Agoda, we're on the lookout for a skilled Engineering Manager to join our Back End team. The ideal candidate will be hands-on, with excellent technical skills and strong leadership abilities.
About the RoleThis is an opportunity to lead one or more of our engineering teams, guiding them to build cutting-edge technology that connects travelers with a global network of hotels and holiday properties worldwide. Our systems cover all major areas of our business, from inventory and pricing to customer data and booking systems.
Key Responsibilities- Lead multiple engineering teams, providing technical guidance and support.
- Develop and implement scalable, fault-tolerant systems and APIs.
- Maintain high levels of code quality, security, and performance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive business growth.
- Proven experience as a system owner with operational responsibility.
- Extensive knowledge of systems architecture, particularly in complex distributed systems.
- Strong experience with Agile development methodologies.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
- Familiarity with DevOps culture and CI/CD pipelines.
- Experience with cloud-based infrastructure.
